Hi,
I got the impression from the comment here:
www.minidsp.com/forum/software-support/1...de-to-minidsp-2x4-hd

that adapting a config from the old miniDSP 2x4 to the miniDSP 2x4HD would be easy.
But I am copying and pasting the biquad values from my old config (some PEQ and Xover settings used the advanced biquad) and they don't work.. I get EQ and crossover curves that don't match between the devices.

Could this be because the sample rate is different? is there a way to translate these?

I have an otherwise working great, long established miniDSP 2x4 config I'd like to "just move over" to the miniDSP 2x4HD "as is" to take advantage of the better hardware and don't want to go and redo all the config and measurement I did all those years ago just yet....

just a follow up here, I managed to create an OK "compatible" miniDSP 2x4 HD config by copying all the settings I could over (gain, delay, etc), and then "eyeballing" the biquad curves and duplicating them one by one with "basic" curves.. this produced a config that sounds the same, and measures the same with my UMIK-1..
.. a later project will be do do a "from scratch" miniDSP HD config using the features of the newer device, but with a bit if effort I was able to "migrate" from the old device fairly smoothly.
