Hello,

The PEAK Filter in parametric equaliser has a delayed falling down curve.
I want to make a negative triangle peak. ..2 lines that comes together downwards and without falling delay.

The 2x4HD hasn't this kind of filter so looked into REW EQ but it seams that it hasn't, too.

How to make straight lines in EQ ?

I don't think you can but I'm not actually sure why you would specifically want to? As opposed to using a Peak type filter with an appropriate Q and gain?

Note that you just see the amplitude response there are associated phase response changes to the filter, and if you somehow did have a perfect triangle shape in the amplitude response I suspect the associated phase response would be undesirable.

mmmh, don't think we've ever seen such parametric before.. What type of filter implementation is that called?
If you know, then just use the advanced biquad feature to program it I guess?

I don't know how its called. Name it "STRAIGHT" when you implement it. The implementation of straight lines in parametric EQ should be possible when connecting neighboured EQ-Points with straight lines so mixing PEAK with STRAIGHT should work,
