I've done a search which seems to suggest that this has been sorted but I can't use the official remote to select sources even after "learning" it (both sources learned to the source button).
It switches ok between SPDIF and Toslink from the software and all other buttons work. Also I understand it will only work when not connected to the PC so have checked that even powering the Nanodigi on/off in between.
Software version is v2.3
Firmware version is v2.11
All kit new out of box.

Any pointers to fix this would be gratefully received.

Anyone (especially support from Minidsp) got any ideas?

Just to close this off in case it is of help to anyone in the future -

1) MiniDSP tech support confirmed that Nanodigi does not support toggled input selection. You need to programme different buttons for the different inputs but my attempts to use the toggle and the centre arrow failed.

2) My solution was to use an old Toshiba SD230E remote (remote SE-R0049) I had lying around and re-programmed the commands to this remote using different buttons for coax and optical inputs. The remote is no where near as good looking as the MiniDSP one but it works.

I've just upgraded the firmware on my NanoDigi 2x8 to version 2.12 and the source selection on the remote still isn't working. I initially tried using the learn function to associate the source selection with the source button, I've also tried to associate source selection with the number buttons. Is it possible to select sources with any button combination on the MiniDsp remote?

I recently purchased a Flex and discovered that the Flex remote also works for Nanodigi source selection.

It looks like replacing the remote in combination with a firmware update addresses this issue.

How do you upgrade the nanoDIGI firmware, circlotron?

Also - how do I find out which version of the plug-in I am running?

There's a FW update to 2.13a that is labeled as solving this issue.
Why don't you fellas try that??

Just to confirm. The combination I have working is 2.13a firmware and the miniDSP IR remote v2.
