Jacek,

We've never seen this issue with installation of .Net framework not being able to install on WinSP2 platforms, so most likely a WinOS issue on your PC.
.NET framework being required, it doesn't surprise me that the plug-in wouldn't work without it.

Have a try at .NET v2.0 since it is sufficient. So if this version installs, that might be a work around.

Have you tried to install v3.5 after installing v2.0? Still not able to install it?
