The product advanced datasheet for the 2 way Advanced 2.1 crossover plug-in lists this:

... this module adds the capability to mix outputs 1 & 2 to a single SUB output
and power two satellite speakers on outputs 3&4.

Does this mean my stereo speakers should be on outputs 3 and 4 while the sub, either in stereo or mono mode, would be on outputs 1 and 2 ?

The example application diagram shows just one connection from the miniDSP to a Mono Amp to the Subwoofer...

Since my Sub is a KRK 10s, with dual, mixing inputs, I would like to disable/bypass the crossover and mixing controls on the Sub and instead control it through the miniDSP.

I am not sure if the KRK uses dual voicecoil speakers and would therefore miss out on volume or tightness if I simply connected just 1 of the 2 connections.....

Id like to know if I put outputs 1 and 2 to my powered Sub, can I choose "Mono or Stereo" sub mode in the software as well as the crossover levels and still have true stereo on outputs 3 and 4?

I think it is as simple as just setting up the Routing on the Inputs & Routing tab of the MiniDSP 2x4 HD Plug in. Say your sub is on Output 1, You would simply choose Input 1 AND Input 2 for output one (which makes it a mono mix of Input 1 & 2 ie L&R channel). You could put another sub on Output 2 and do the same thing. Your main speakers would just choose one Input each, not both on Outputs 3&4.
