For Demopad, Irule, Home Assistant and all others automation equipments, it is unmanageable...

To bypass the lack of discret codes, is it possible to assign, for example, SPDIF input to preset 1 and AES-EBU to preset 2 ?

Yes, there are for most of the inputs. But I am not sure if I can post them here in a way you can use them. If you are using a Global Cache device you can try this one:

sendir,1:3,1,38000,1,69,342,171,22,63,22,21,22,63,22,21,22,63,22,63,22,21,22,21,22,21,22,63,22,21,22,63,22,21,22,21,22,63,22,63,22,63,22,63,22,21,22,21,22,21,22,63,22,21,22,21,22,21,22,21,22,63,22,63,22,63,22,21,22,63,22,63,22,1528,342,85,22,38

where the first "1" describes the module and the "3" the connector of the device. This activates the SPDIF input.

If you are using a harmony remote things are easier:

www.minidsp.com/applications/minidsp-harmony-remote

If your system supports http-requests you can also control the SHD this way:

ip:3000/api/v1/browse?uri=inputs/id/2

Hope this helps in some way...

Thank you VERY much.
Have you got the other Global Cache codes ?
AES-EBU & Toslink ?

I assume you realise that inputs can be selected via the Volumio interface, and that you can reduce the number which are available to scroll through on the remote via the plugin?

OK, here I am again - trying multitasking, hope these work for you. If not, just ask again.

Please remember to adjust the first two digits to your system.

Unfortunately I've lost the codes for the analog inputs.

Have fun,
