My speaker makes a loud pop on one output (number 2), when my amp is turned on. This happens with both the balanced and the unbalanced connection.

Here's more info on the setup and testing:

I power the SHD first, and then wait for it to boot completely. Then, I power my amps on. It doesn't matter how long I wait (30 seconds or 5 minutes), and this is with all of these amps:

- Emotiva PA-1 monoblocks, both balanced and unbalanced
- Onkyo M282, unbalanced
- Rokit KRK powered speakers, both balanced and unbalanced.

These amps do not make the loud pop when the SHD is disconnected, and make only a soft pop on outputs 1, 3, and 4

Has anyone else seen this, and is there a fix/workaround other than avoiding this output?

Thanks for any advice!

Does it happen if the SHD is disconnected from LAN? Maybe there is something like an electric circular connection across all the cables?

Yes, unfortunately.

I’ve removed all of the connections except power and line out. The popping occurs with amp power ups, but also when pressing the config buttons and putting it in and out of standby.

I’ve been working with the dealer, who has been great... but after resetting it and then reflashing the firmware, we agreed that I have to send it back.

Thanks for your suggestion, though :)
