I just tried using the Inputs option for the first time and found it is missing the LAN option I wanted to switch to. Probably the most important to be able to select within Volumio I'd have thought?

That said I think I'd realistically be sticking with using the remote control anyway so it's not a big loss for me.

Something I just learned about this. If you are another input and you stream anything to the lan input, it changes inputs to the lan automatically. It works really well. I discovered it by accident by switching it to the toslink input to watch tv and it kept switching back to the lan input because the music being streamed was only muted and not paused. This autosiwtching to the lan input is most welcome for others in our house that just want things to work automatically. Very nice.

I think I've experienced this once or twice but hadn't realised quite what was happening. Thanks :) .

I am very happy with the dark screen now. But I noticed the problem of not knowing the volume and input. Not a big deal from my point of view.

Dear All

Glad to hear that most of you are enjoying this feature. FYI that we've got in our pipeline to add the ability to turn ON/OFF the "auto-shutdown" feature for the OLED. We will try to add it to next release. Incremental updates is key.. :-)

Volume/Source and preset control is indeed now possible from Volumio WebGUI as we finalized the control protocol.

Have fun,

Is anyone else since the update getting random halts in playing on roon, since the update ?

My SHD is now just losing connection to roon (Select an audio zone).
It then comes back a few sec later.

This was not an issue before the update.

FWIW I played Roon for a few hours yesterday and didn't get any dropouts. Is your unit wired or connected by Wifi dongle?

I'm wired, which is weird the dropouts keep happening.

Thank yo for the update and look forward to it. Appreciate the incremental updates that are bug free as opposed to adding features that introduce "issues". Thanks again for the udpate.

Thanks for the firmware 1.15 :) I was jumping of joy when I say the display turn off.

Now I can remove the card box that was in front of the display.

I thought the SHD might be miniDSP's move from the DIY market to include the more traditional audio consumer. If so, it would be really helpful for the zip file of an update to include a PDF with clear installation instructions. What is the point of making the customer search all over to figure this out?

Other companies, of course, include automated installers that are even easier. But just including instructions would be a big improvement.

I think that's a good point.
