To get to the point where I could make my first measurement was no easy task :woohoo:
But when everything work, then Dirac is very easy to work with :)

I wounder why Dirac has chosen to set the target curve so low. loosing about 4db of gain.
Guess it's because of the low end adjustment

I don't understand those pictures. I would not expect to see the predicted spectrum to be sitting so far below the target curve.

Same here, there are very low. But it sounds very good (;
I have set the SHD to -5db, can not here any kind of distortion

Well that's the main thing :) .

I'm still confused by what you're seeing though. Maybe someone else has seen this before though...

The predicted averages just don't look right, they are normally on top of the target within a few dB.

Yesterday I got a reply from Dirac regarding the low target curve.
The said it was a visual bug and that it will be corrected in the next release.

Thanks for the update. I guess this must be a bug that only affects some people or surely Dirac would have spotted it in testing.

If it is a visual bug it is quite selective. Are you using any of the PEQ etc. corrections in the SHD back-end (not Dirac)?
I have 4 different SHD 'Config' settings in the SHD backend for different X-Over settings to Sub-Woofer. If I don't use PEQ settings in the back-end then Dirac sets the curve to track quite accurately, but when I do set PEQ settings I get the kind of departure in lines that you see. I haven't 100% proven that is the case, but I am suspicious and will do some more work next weekend to see if I can isolate it.

Only using Dirac.
The release note for 2.4.1 also mention the UI bug

The right channel graph shows a dip at 80Hz that is 10dB below the target (+2 - -8 = 10).
According to info on how Dirac works, it wants to have 10dB of headroom available for "boost" corrections (such as the one required at 80Hz).
If the overall gain was not first adjusted down by 10dB, then the boost might overdrive the digital gain range.
In other words, while the Dirac correction is lowering overall gain by 10dB, you would have to run the overall volume setting louder by 10dB.

This potentially could limit the maximum SPL available by your system, but most systems can play "too loud" so it shouldn't be an issue.
