I'm using my SHD through a coax connection from my music server, not via USB. I have absolutely no problems with Dirac Live or the SHD, everything is working perfectly. I see there is a "minor" SHD plugin update that requires uninstalling the previous version before installing the new. Is this update necessary in my configuration? Has anyone done this, and does it require only uninstalling the SHD plugin?

Sure appreciate the help! B)

The update shouldn't be necessary for you, but yes all that's required is uninstalling SHD plugin. If that new plugin does cause problems you can uninstall that and reinstall the older one. I have done this several times. The audio drivers and XMOS firmware have not changed so only the plugin is affected.
