Anyone with gradients and 63's feel like share settings the 63s are stock but the gradients have new peerless drivers. I think I am missing something in the settings of the sheving filter I am currently have a 6db shelving filter but I am confused if I should be cascading it and doing something else. I am relatively new with dsp and my digital sounds great my record player not so much.

I don't know, whether anyone responded. I'd love to know how you ended configuring the crossover slopes, I've just bought a minidsp 2X4HD and a Quad ESL63/SW-63 combo and am struggling a bit.

The combination is great. One of the best I pull them out every once in a while but i no longer have the settings saved. I currently run Mag 3.7 with the gradients. So just a crossed over . But it was a lot of trial and error. but my basic starting point was between 100 115 os where I crossed the subs with the 63's and it was a steep crossover cause you want it to cross at that magic spot between 100 and 115 at least that's what I can remember. And the gradients need power to really start to shine. Look up how to add a 6db shelf on the gradients .

Thanks! Do you remember which type of curves you selected in the Minidsp (LR or BW 2nd or 3rd order, etc.)?

Think it was butterworth or LR . I modeled on the MT X0-2001 crossover as I could not find one. If I recall there is some info about this crossover specifically if you google it. it was a thrid party replacment /upgrade for the gradient xover.

Make sure panding your amp to make sure the gradient are set to 4 om vs 16 ohm . Via the pin jumper as the 16ohm can casue some problems for amps. What are you driving the the rig with....T

EAR 509 II monoblocks for the quads, a quad 405 or naim nap 110 temporarily for the subs, I'll be upgrading that part later on.

Thanks for your help!
