Trying to use DIRAC calibration with my SHD. Starting with a stereo calibration as recommended in the manual. I cannot get any test tone sound. I don't think it is the USB cable because I can see signal levels on inputs and outputs with the SHD plugin. Hopefully something simple but I'm struggling and getting nowhere!

Can anyone think of what to try to fix?

Thanks,
Doug

Probably best to follow the steps in the manual.

I mentioned I was following the manual. Anyone have anything useful or know what could cause this?

The first time I used Dirac I got no sound because I forgot to set the input on the SHD Studio to usb.

Oh good grief! That was it. I guess this should have been obvious but it wouldn't hurt to add it to the manual.... Up and running now.

Thank you jaaptina.

Hm, well I just tried it, and DLCT doesn't care which input is selected to do the calibration. Which is consistent with how it works...

It works on all sources EXCEPT LAN, at least for me.
Thanks for your help. John!

Hi Doug

you're indeed correct! There is a limitation that we indeed need to document. Test tone won't operate if you're in the LAN mode.

Thanks for the warning for us to add it and sorry you had that issue! Hoping you're enjoying your unit now. :-)
