Congratulations on the new SHD. Being an owner of a DDRC-22D, Volumio on a Raspberry Pi 3, I think the SHD is a very smart idea.

I just received my SHD (Firmware: v.6.F2) and set it up. But strangely the Volumio build is very outdated (Volumio: 2.373 from March 1) and the “Check updates” button that always works on my Raspberry Pi wrongly says that I’m on the latest version. How do you handle the updates of Volumio? Those are very important and fixed a lot of non-working stuff for me. Are they provided directly through the Volumio website or from Minidsp?

@Runlonger

Thanks for your feedback!
The volumio build is from few months ago and a custom build for miniDSP (i.e. not following the same dev path as RPI).
With this said, we're always pushing some updates. E.g. some new update will soon come up to solve a little issue during pause/play (some clicks in some specific cases). It will be soon released Over The Air (OTA update). Thanks for your patience.

PS: Spotify connect is a 3rd party plugin of volumio as you know. That plugin seem to have been broken by Spotify update lately. Please check out this link for solving potential issues of playlist. volumio.org/forum/help-needed-test-spoti...th-oauth-t10071.html

Have fun
