Hello
I am looking for help with rePhase and a Mini DSP 2x4 HD.
I would like to use FIR to improve my 2.2 system acoustically to the listening position.
Could someone help me with my .mdat possibly?
There are different procedures to create a file for rePhase, but which is the right one for my wish?
There are a lot of settings in rePhase.
It feels like there are too many, because there are no detailed explanations for rePhase that I could find.
I translate every text and that makes it harder to understand.
I would have a lot of questions, it would be easier for me to understand on the basis of my own file.
And looking at a finished rePhase file would also help.
With most tutorials I just do not get on, therefore the request for help.
I would be very happy about an answer!!

Here are the links
drive.google.com/file/d/1OO1HpnTowP6Q8Qz...H7B/view?usp=sharing
It was measured : 15/6 FDW and 96khz

With kind regards

2x4hd isn’t meant for a full magnitude phase correction although you can do some of it as long as it’s got all the taps to 2ch and you don’t use steep attenuation.

it’s meant to be used as a fir crossover or to make Linear a iir crossover....

Can’t open the mdat what exactly are you trying to do

You want to use ieee32bitmono.bin

use 96000 as your sampling frequency

and for now just use rectangular windows

For your sub to midbass you might want to try centering at like 10ms with 1024taps going to each with a 80-100hz crossover

just erase the typing in the centering box that says “use closes perfect impulse” and literally type in 10ms with no caps and no space

give that a shot and call me

Thanks for your answer
I have the tabs set to left and right with 2042 per channel.
The Xo is in the 100 Hz range, so it should work with the Mini DSP.
I would like to equalize the speaker to the listening position. Linearize phase as best as possible and take into account the internal crossover from the speaker.
Have also recently been able to get some results that look good.
I proceed as follows:
9 point measurement
Averaging of the measurement left and right
Eq of the left & right speakers
Export Eq as file for rePhase
Export MLP of each speaker left and right as wav
Import the wav
A*B (MLP and wav) for left and right respectively
create a minimum phase
create an Excess phase for rePhase
Afterwards I go to rePhase

I hope my flow is to be understood to some extent.
I had hoped that through the mdat can be helped better
But I don't quite understand their information. I know the window, but the explanation with the 10ms is not clear to me. Maybe also a translation problem
(just erase the typing in the centering box that says "use closes perfect impulse" and literally type in 10ms with no caps and no space)
Could you explain it more exactly? Possibly also by a picture.

I just checked the link again. I can open it with REW. Maybe our versions are different.
My Version V5.20

Many greetings
Alex

Sorry I meant to erase the box that says “middle” and type 10ms , but that is only if your using the Hd as a active crossover which you are not

so for yours keep it in the middle as your doing the entire impulse unless your phase correction is in the low frequencies only

for yours I would disconnect the speakers  as a two way just to take measurements of the HF to LF crossover and find out where the acoustic slopes are using close mic to speaker measurements

do That after you make the magnitude flat as close proximity like 3’ or so
that way you can see how the Crossover is behaving without some artifacts

then use the linearization that matches the slope and use the compensate to get it just right , or use one of the filters linearization and do both sides of the crossover simultaneously, even if it’s just close and not perfect it will still sound way better ....  As long is the phase is shifting relatively close in shape and frequency it’s better then not at all

You could do that at least on one of the drivers and then fix the sum of the phase after

A few different ways to do it maybe Thomas can chime in that’s how I would approach at least at least

and then after that do your listening position stuff. And do your excess phase and room stuff
