Does anyone know how to import the measurement into miniSHARC after doing an environmental correction in the rePhase?
Thanks.
Eugenio

@ Eugenio

A great app note gives you a good starting point here: www.minidsp.com/applications/advanced-tools/rephase-fir-tool
Maybe clarify with some screenshots the issue that you have? It would help.

Hi and thank you for the link.
But I'm not able not import on the mini sharc the frequency response after I treated in rePhase, while I can do it with Rew.

Can you confirm that you are generating a ‘32 bits IEEE-754 mono (.bin)’ format file out of Rephase.
This is the format required to import into the FIR section of a MiniDSP.

If so, can you provide more details of the error when importing the file into the minisharc.

Importing the FIR .bin is ok, the trouble is importing PEQ in the miniSHARC 4x96k from rePhase.
I also have an issue with the TAP. In the instructions I read that you can use 1024 x channel, but I can't modify the maximum setting of the Tap, that seems actually to be 425. Is it like this?
Thank you.

Are you using the Basic or Advanced method to enter PEQs into the mini Sharc?
Rephase does not generate a compatible format file to be imported via the Advanced method.
You will have to manually enter the Rephase PEQ values into the mini Sharc.

Hi Eugenio,

You are not supposed to import PEQ settings from rephase (you could by copying settings, making sure you are using "proportional Q" type to match what miniDSP uses, but that is not the conventional workflow). The generated FIR (in bin format) represents the correction (PEQs, filters, phase linearization, etc.) and is all you need to import.
To increase the number of taps you might need to lower it in other channels beforehand, as the total maximum number of taps will not let you put all channel to 1024.
