Hi,

I'm doing the first steps now with AcourateDRC on OpenDRC hardware. AcourateDRC as well as the OpenDRC 2x2 plugin are really easy to use, pretty nice tools.
I found in the PEQ section that EQs can be entered in basic and advanced mode, means biquads can be put in.
This feature is not documented in the user manual v1.0, which seems to be the actual one.
My question is, how many biquads can be loaded? Is it posible to load biquads from REW in order to correct the low frequency band with IIR filters and higher frequencies with FIR?

Best regards

Thomas

Hi, the OpenDRC plugin doesn't yet have the ability to load a REW file. A workaround is you can paste in each biquad individually from the file. Or, copy over f, Q, and gain manually. But yes, while you can't (that I know of) limit the AcourateDRC correction filter to a frequency range, you can do low frequency correction with biquads/PEQs and then run the FIR generator.

I'm curious to know how it works out ;)

Hi John,
Hi devteam,

Thanks for your explanation. That's what I expected.
I let you know the outcome of my testing.
