I believe it needs to supported on software, when can we see it? That's the only thing stopping me to buy OpenDRC at the moment.

I am also interested in 96kHz support on openDRC although number of taps will be halved.

I'd like to combine (ideally stack) it with 2x8 an do an hybrid FIR/IIR and accordingly minimum/linear phase equalization :)

However I think we will have to wait for an definite answer, DevTeam indicated that they are working on it but it may take some time.

OpenDRC @ 96kHz will indeed mean 1/2 the DSP power. It's no magic button here.. :-)

Maybe in the future, when we get to release a new version based on a new FIR algorithm it will allow higher sample rate with higher sample rate. However note that it won't be the same price knowing the requirements in terms of DSP programming and hardware changes required.
