Hi,.
I built a system that has two miniSHARCs to be more specific front end is a Dirac (3.1) it then feeds a MiniSHARC with 96K plugin. All works well.
Would like to get into FIR filtering and I wonder if anyone has done what I think would be the best way to take advantage of the available DSP power, given 96K operations and limited number of taps available.

Measure the drivers, use rePhase to create phase and amplitude linear filters for the tweeter and midrange, then use Dirac bellow.

Tweeter            HP 2200Hz (FIR 24dB/o LR)
Mid                  HP300 Hz  - LP2200Hz (FIR 24dB/o LR)
MidBass          HP 90Hz - LP300Hz (IIR standard MiniSharc Plugin 24dB/LR)
Sub                 HP 10Hz - LP90Hz (IIR standard MiniSharc Plugin 24dB/LR)
Would then set Dirac to work up to lets say 400Hz only.

Thanks for your input.

I’m doing the same thing, in a car! And it’s outstanding

i have optical source, ddrc22 , then out to a 3 way optical splitter ( j tech powered toslink splitter) then out to 3 minidsp 2x4HDs for 12ch

all fir crossovers before Dirac and fully tuned

then run Dirac after and it’s amazing

for the low crossover at 96k (I also use rephase) use rectangular windows and center it at 10ms using 1900taps  on that 2x4hd and use the tweeter at 242taps on same 2x4hd

the other 2x4hd for mid and midbass I use 1024taps and center at 9.33ms for midbass and center at center for midrange and all fir work great

I just use a calculator and mind my offsets and adjust delays accordingly
