Have measured sub output and have built filters in REW. REW's predicted graph is flat within +1/-1 db. Uploaded biquads and then measured again - the result is very much unsatisfactory. First attached picture shows initial measurement and REW's predicted graphs. Second picture shows initial measurement in blue and measurement after applying filters in green. Note huge green notch around 70 hz that was practically not affected.
Crossovers are bypassed and all other channels are muted. Please advise.

If a notch in the response is caused by a cancellation, you cannot EQ it out. I'm guessing that is what is happening here.

Interesting,... I have some soft furniture in the room and thought it would prevent diffraction enough. Based on your experience, what do people do in this case that would bring best results with lowest possible room alterations?

The furniture won't make any difference at sub frequencies. You'd need to try moving the sub. (Or use more than one.) In my room I've now figured out where to put subs but if I ever had to move it would be a process to go through again figuring out the good locations.

I thought REW wouldn't try and fill in a notch but maybe in the original measurement isn't sharp enough (Q). Do you have smoothing turned on when doing the auto eq?
