Hi there.
I have a problem with my OpenDRC-DA8 unit.
I have routed the spdif right channel to the output nr 8.
Checking at the "Outputs " section when playing music the vu meter shows -117, Just like its muted, but its not. No sound from this output is heard ,
If I however route to any other output it works as it should.
I have done a re-flash (latest version) with no improvement,

Do I have a defective unit?

Output

kjb

Hi, suggest you check the graphs and settings in the Xover, FIR PEQ blocks on that channel.
I am not miniDSP support.

the fact the the DSP RMS meter sees zero signals tells us it's down to something in the channel and not hardware. i.e. you're not outputting anything now. Most likely because you have some crossover/FIR/EQ issue.

In cases like this I find it handy to load a "reference" configuration that has all crossover/eq/delay/etc/etc turned off. (Just select the proper routing only.)
This way you can monitor the input/output channels/meters to verify they're all indicating the same thing.

Obviously, you MUST NOT HAVE POWER AMPS TURNED ON WHEN DOING THIS. :)

That solved it. In the fir window the bypass button was not active. Didnt thought I had been there at all. Well all good now.
