I was wondering about clock synchronization on the digital inputs. I noticed all models with digital inputs do have a "SYNC" LED on the front plate (below the 3 different inputs). But I couldn't find any documentation.

When is it meant to light up?

Isn't the signal for internal calculation always reclocked to 48kHz anyways - no matter what the input is?! Shouldn't the SYNC LED light up at least on an 48kHz input?

FYI: Using an OpenDRC-DA (FW, 2.18) AES-EBU input (from Fireface UC) and the 2x2 plugin (v2.4)

@ HaHeho

Actually that SYNC led was never enabled. It doesn't show the sync to the source I'm afraid.
sorry for confusion.

Hello Devteam

I just realized the SYNC led did light up on one of my two openDRC-DI.
Should I worry?

I always thought that SYNC was a warning light, to indicate synchronising setups to the board while connected to computer, ie. do not unplug it while it's synchronising, you must wait till it's completed.
