This feels like a bit of a dummy question so apologies in advance. With the DI you can create 2 output channels from a single digital input signal. Am I right in thinking that those 2 channels are contained within a single digital output from the DI?

In the OpenDRC-DI (or also -DA) you can choose one from 1xRCA, 1xTOSLINK and 1xdigital XLR as input for 2 channels (=stereo).
After the internal process you can simultaneously use the signal at the 1xRCA, 1xTOSLINK and 1xdigital XLR as output for again 2 channels (=stereo).
Therefore it is called OpenDRC 2x2.
In the plugin 2x2 you can reroute one channel of the stereo digital input signal to both channels.
