One DCR22D have been ordered. My intention is to put this unit in my chain before the miniDSP 4x10. In the crossover some EQ settings have been done in the sub and the bass region. The 4-way active system have been measured in REW, and the results in sub/bass with this EQs is “fear”
I can see that the combination DCR22 and MiniDSP4x10 have been discussed here before, but the questions so far have not been the same as I need good advices for.

1. Shall I “quit” all my EQ settings in the sub/bass that I already have in my 4x10??
2. Both the mid and the upper high have been delayed into my 4x10. Is it a good idea to keep this as is??
3. Any other good advices for the combination DCR22D and miniDSP 4x10?

Hallo,

I got this setup running

i recommend you to switch off all EQs

My advice is ,)
Try to align the phase of each loudspeaker with a time delay as accuracy as possible

Reason
The DCR22D is only able to adjust on frequency only one time
The Frequency’s( Tweeter and Bass) at the XO area are never 100% time similar and never will be the DCR22D adjust both frequency’s with the same time delay

Best regards

Actimel's advice is indeed very good.
- Remove the EQ on the speaker to simplify the job of Dirac. less IIR and its phasing issue to solve = simpler task for Dirac Live.
- Make sure you time align your speakers correctly. It will help to have a single coherent source for the measurement.
