hello,
now my question :laugh:
the ddrc22d has power supply 5 V 0,6A 3W
the mini sharc kit has 5-24 Volts ?

why?
can i put my 9V supply on the ddrc22d?

You need to supply the DDRC with 5v. This is the typical CMOS voltage needed for the I/O of the board. The miniSHARC can operate at a broader range because it has internal voltage regulation. However for the I/O system to work, you need 5V. The miniSHARC can operate at different voltages because it was designed to be used in several different applications. yes ,but i think 5 v was for the DA or A version of I/O boards. is this wrong?

have you an idea :can i give 5 V direct to the I/O board?
do i undestand correct: the main power goes to the minisharc board(with dc/dc regualtion for the shark processor)and goes unregulated direct goes through the minisharc board to the I/O board?

Because of AN-FP and DA-FP, you should only use 5V supply. 9V would do damage.
