88.2 kHz plugin 9 months 3 weeks ago #48047

Hello,

Is it possible to you to make a 88,2 kHz samplerate plugin for an Open drc DI box dsp ?
In order to x2 the original Redbook samplerate (44,1 kHz) ?
I wonder if it shouldnbe better or not than the standard 48 kHz plugin...

If not, i can't download the 96 kHz plugin via "user download" section.

Can you help me ?

Thanks

Nicolas

Hi, there is no 96 kHz version of the OpenDRC plugin.

There's a 96k version of the miniSHARC plugin here:

I am not miniDSP support.

Hi John,

Ok so do you think it should be possible to make tis Open drc DI to make a synchronous operation ?
En gros, bypass the asrc ?

Because sound seems to be very "tranparent" without this box.

For information i just use openndrc DI as an equalizer via the crossover output section in order to lower the bass headroom.

Maybe the 48 kHz asrc isnt needed ?? ...

Well, I'm not really the one to answer this but my understanding is that it's technically possible but would require you to build hardware that slaves to the clock from the miniSHARC board. So regardless, if your source is say 44k1 then something has to convert it to 48k.

Nicolas,

Ibasso dx120>spdif coaxial>open drc DI>nuprime dac 9>denon poa 2800>dynaudio x14

Ou
Sony cdp xa3es>spdif optique>open drc DI>nuprime dac 9>denin poa 2800>dynaudio x14
