Hello,

Considering nanoavr hda- few questions if anyone can help:

-I have a home office that has two separate speaker System (floorstandings and desktop monitors) but only one sub. My source is an oppo Blu-ray player. plan is to connect the nano AVR HDA output as such: connect RCA 1 left channel floor standing, RCA 2 to right channel floor standing, RCA three to monitor left, RCA four to monitor right, and RCA 5 to subwoofer. In this situation could I have one config file that has floorstanding outputs active and a sub equalization file, and a second config file that has the monitors active with the sub and a different config file?

-Can you still use room equalizer wizard to Output your filters, like I did with my mini DSP?

-I noticed you can do volume control on this unit – does it work smoothly? Does
it add any noise/compression? If it works well I can ditch my preamp.

-Any concerns about this products for 2.1 channel audio?

Thanks, Leo

Interesting idea. I can't think of any reason why that wouldn't work fine.

With the Oppo you should be able to run it in split output mode. Be aware that if you connect your computer to the nanoAVR, the computer will think it has an external display connected (my Mac does anyway).
