Hello,

I have a 5.0 system with 2 large fronts, 2 large rears and a bigger center. Manual reads to set-up the measurement with 7.1 system. But wouldn't it be better to choose "custom" and tell the system what is really attached?

Thanks
Meiko

The system config that you choose in the nanoAVR DL needs to be for the signal that is going through it, not the final number of speakers. Typically the source material will be 7.1, and that may be downmixed in the AVR. So in that typical case the system config chosen in the nanoAVR DL would be 7.1. However it may be that your setup is not like that - perhaps you could provide more specifics?

Thanks for your reply. Makes sense!

So the NanoAVR is not capable of downmixing. My Onkyo AVR is by the way...
Is it - in my case - okay to link the LFE channel with the front? Because It is the same speaker for the low frequencies...?

That's correct, the nanoAVR won't be the device doing the downmixing. Best that you do that with your AVR. i.e. need to redirect the bass I guess since you have no subs. Best that you configure your AVR correctly (i.e. 5.0 setup) and it might automatically do that redirect. Then when you do the sweeps through the nanoAVR, it will go to the correct speakers.
