HelloI connected my minidsp to the MINIDSP Console and it did an automatic firmware update now I have a red triangle on the device was a warning.  I hope your console sopftware has not bricked my minidsp.  Refresh DSP firmware does not help, neither does XMOS Firmware.   Can you suggest how I can fix my minidsp 2X4HD as it was the software that autoimatically downlaoded the firmware and has since caused this issue.  Can I not downlaod a file to totally overwrite the minidsp 2X4 HD. Firmware version as downloaded by minidsp Console is corrup I have reverted to firmware version 1.50 and the warning triangle is now removed so it must be a fault in the new firmware. 

So my minidsp 2X4 HD is back to normal though everytime I connect to the console it is asking me tio upgrade which I refuse.  Can you confirm what is goiung on.

Same problem here. I removed and reinstalled everything. When the console asked me to update, I said no and turned off automatic updates. That fixed the red warning triangle. Wasted several hours on that.

That red triangle is just a warning that should then ask you a subsequent step as you connect. it shouldn't brick the unit. Did it? 
Did you ever connect to the unit and get a msg? 

Easiest way to get this solved? Please start a support ticket with our team together with a log of your Device Console. It will provide all the info they need and they are here to help!

Unit is not bricked and it is running normally without the updated software/firmware. What subsequent step should it ask? All I recall was it asking me to do a firmware update. I did that and the red triangle did not go away.

I'm not going to reinstall the updated software/firmware. The easiest way to resolve this is for your engineers to recheck their work before sending out a buggy update. I wasted hours on this. Don't ask me to do the work. This isn't a one off problem.

OK, I found the snapshot button, but it probably will tell the engineers nothing since I rolled back the software and don't have the red triangle now. I'm not putting that buggy software back on. I opened a support ticket and uploaded the snapshot. Good luck with that. Hey, I'm not a beta tester.

I noticed the unit has firmware 1.6 which I suspect is the latest. Looks like only the console program was rolled back. The problem is likely in the console program reporting an error that isn't there, or could it be the new version is finding a real error that the old version of the console program missed?

@ teitelbaumr Ok, I see... we were just trying to help and solve your issue..  
We indeed tested every possible configuration for few weeks.. These are complex setup and we can't see every single possible issue. That's why we were simply asking for a log (5sec task) to be emailed and not requiring any other steps. If you're all set now staying on the older version, then all good.. We'll just wait to see if other customers also have that issue and take it from there. 

As usual, we don't force customers to update. You can always turn off updates maybe if that is too trouble?

You have the log of my configuration, just old console with the new firmware. Maybe there is something in there. Updates are off for now. I may give it another try later wwithj the new console.

I reinstalled the 1.1.16 update, saw the red warning triangle, made a snapshot and uploaded it. My configuration is a vanilla 2.2 setup. I reverted to 1.1.11 so I don't have to look at the damn triangle.

I also recall completely resetting everything to the default settings and that did not make the red triangle go away. Maybe there is something wrong with my hardware which is brand new.

It's just visual and can be ignored for now. Audio processing will indeed work 100% fine. A new build will be sent shortly.

Yes everytime I connect to the minidsp software it automatically wants to install the update which I refuse as every time it updates the firmware I get the red triangle so for now I just decline the update and the minidsp is working as intended though it is a shame I cant use the new updated firmware or is it a fault in the automatic downlaod as explained by the Devs further in this  post they explain to wait for an update on the firmware before updating.

All sorted now.

The device still seems to function the same, but the red warning icon is annoying.
