Hello,

So the miniDsp software does not work on linux, but can I command it from REW which works on linux to apply eq ?

Does the combination miniDsp + REW works on linux, if I accept to make the changes from REW and not with the software provided by miniDsp ?

Thank you very much for your answers.

Sébastien.

You can't control a miniDSP device from REW, so no, that will not work. You need either a PC or a MAC to run the miniDSP software.

Thank you for your answer.

So if I understood correctly, I can configure it through windows (with my measurements from rew) and everything will work fine on linux, just the minidsp will be a standalone device applying eq, crossover and delay on my speakers+sub.

I will be able to input music with:
 - analog in
 - toslink
But will I be able to input music through usb from linux ?

For example, I can do that with my rme fireface when it is in class compliant mode.

Is it possible to do this with the minidsp ?

Thanks !

Yes to the first bit.
I've not tried feeding a miniDSP via USB from a Linux device I'm afraid - maybe someone else has? Don't see why not, but no direct experience of doing it.
