Hi everybody,

I am very excited about your miniDSP project, since I'm considering using it as active crossover for my slowly developing 3-way loudspeaker project.

Before purchasing, I would like to be certain about software prerequisites. I understand I need to install Microsoft .NET 3.5 and the latest Adobe AIR environment on my Windows XP SP3 system.

But I wonder how and where to install the required Adobe Flash Player. Since it is not a standalone application, but available only as plug-in for different internet browsers, I cannot imagine how it will be utilized by the miniDSP software.

So, which browser do I actually have to install the Flash Player into? Is the functioning of the miniDSP software dependent on browser configuration as well? Or am I getting something very wrong?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Tim

Tim,

There are some files required for the software. Simply go to get.adobe.com/air/ and get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to grab the latest version.

The miniDSP software doesn't require any browser at all.. it's running in its own Air environment.

Hoping this clarifies.
