The date sheet specifies that the minidsp has an input impedance of 6K and an out impedance of 560. I have also seen in a post that revB has an input resistance (impedance?) Of ~14k. Which is correct? Also I assume if you add a 10K pot (is said to be on the output) that will add to the output impedance an amount depending on rotation.

Finally is the maximum output .9v regardless of whether the unit is RevA or B?

Thanks for developing this very interesting product!

John,

RevA (0.9Vrms max on input)
input impedance: 6k
outputp impedance: 560ohms

RevB (2Vrms max on input)
Input impedance: 14k
Output impedance: 560ohms

As for the 10k pot, it's in digital domain (i.e applying volume control on the DSP, not on the analog path). In other words, no change on the output impedance.

Hope this clarifies

You're also correct that 0.9Vrms is the max output regardless of revA or B. If you need more output signal, have a look at the balanced output (2Vrms out)

Hope this helps.
