Hey there, wondering why my latest 2x4 HD has a 1.18 firmware... my old one has 1.17 which I updated back then. No 1.18 exists in my customer downloads for 2x4HD.

Same here. I just got my miniDSP 2x4 HD this week. It has version 1.18 and the latest available for download is 1.17. I'll just leave the firmware as is for now.

I noted this and being new didn't realise there was an older version as the "current download". 

I've not found 1.18 anywhere and don't know what any differences are.

Only major thing I noticed, which I think is hardware, not firmware, is this one has less noise. I am returning it though for something else.
