Hi,

I have a minidsp 2x4hd with umik1 conected to dual subs.
I'm trying to correct my nulls and peaks via REW eq and importing the file to the minidsp.

My correction is set to 15-105hz. I'm adding a house curve, trying to straighten the curve line and everything looks pretty much ok on REW, before the file is saved.

but when I go and import the saved file to the minidsp, I see that the frequencies that were changed are from 50 to 200hz.

What am I doing wrong?

All prior settings on the minidsp are cleared. Everything is flat. I don't understand why is it saving a file the doesnt look like what I'm doing on REW

Sampling rate difference between your Umik file and the 96khz rate expected in the 2x4HD???

Thanks for your reply Dave.

Yeah, you're probably right.
Here are screenshots from the preferences tab on REW and the EQ.
The preferences tab state that the sample rate is 48khz and the eq has the minidsp 2x4hd is at 96khz.
Which one should I match to the other? Does it matter if both will be at 48khz or 96khz?

Simon

I'm not very familiar with REW/UMIK operation but, generally, if you see factor-of-two issues (or similar) it's a sampling rate difference/issue.
The miniDSP 2x4HD operates at 96khz.  You can't change that.
