Hi, when I try to sync my minidsp I get a series of 3 attempts before getting a message “cannot connect to DSP, please plug in the board.” (See 1st image)

I chose the minidsp 2x4 advanced plugin.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the program. I’ve tried connecting via usb + power supply to a wall. I have a solid white light on the back of the dsp as well as a blue blinking light inside the Dsp.

My Mac shows the minidsp is recognized when plugged in. (See 2nd image)

I'm having this same issue... told it's the cable, but have changed cables, adapters, etc, with intermittent results.  Now the blue LED is blinking, and the term 'blinking' does not occur in the user manual, so searching this forum for answers and found this post, which answered the question about blinking.  Still working on a 'solution', which, at this point, is either my computer Macbook Pro 2018 or my miniDSP 2x4HD.  Issue reported, acknowledged by miniDSP "Dev Team". Ticket Received - MiniDSP 2x4HD/Flex 1.21 disconnecting / cannot connect.

Following...

Update:
I tried resetting the unit but there is zero indication it worked.  While the LED was blinking, I pressed reset and no change: LED kept blinking.  I power-cycled the board and now the LED is solid, but I can no longer connect to the unit.

So at this point, I have no idea what the state of the board is and will guess that it's back to factory reset.  However, I cannot upload configs because I can't connect to the unit at this time.

Same issue using a Flex and OSX.  Unit is seen by miniDSP USB DFU.  Changing the cable did not resolve the issue.

This is a pretty generic error, which could be a hardware or a computer configuration issue (or even a USB cable problem). The general advice to absolutely everyone above would be to contact miniDSP support via the link at the top of the page.
