My first post on this forum, trying to configure my new SHD. I got as far as connecting the SHD plugin up to 6.3.1 "Master control" in the user manual, but when I try to start Dirac Live  the app asks for login details for my Dirac Live account, which I didn't know I needed to have - it isn't mentioned in the user manuals. Is this usual? Do I have to set up an account on the Dirac Live website?
There is an option to continue without logging in, but will this give reduced functionality, as they say?

Also, in the Dirac Live User Manual, Section 3 CHANNEL CONFIGURATION (MULTICHANNEL PROCESSORS ONLY) , it says "Click on the Display menu in the (I assume it means SHD) plugin" and "Select the Dirac Channels Configuration menu entry", but there is no Display menu tab!
The SHD Plugin version is SHD_v1_15_fw_v1_29, by the way.

What am I doing wrong? (Apart from buying a miniDSP SHD with minimal computing skills and assuming it would be easy to set up!) It works well as a DAC and pre-amp, but I really got it for the DSP to sort out the sound in my peculiar listening room.

CHANNEL CONFIGURATION (MULTICHANNEL PROCESSORS ONLY) - SHD is not multichannel.

Dirac Live would need an account in order to process the calibration. They would like to have a record on your calibration file.

SHD is a 2 Input device, meaning 2 analog mono L/R channels, or stereo digital channels. 
Multichannel refers to multiple inputs, usually 3 channels or more. Multichannel devices are 88A or 88D.

I misunderstood the meaning of Multichannel devices, thanks for explaining.
As for the Dirac Live account, I should have read further on in the manual - RTFM!
