Hi you all. First my english is not too good. Hope my Questions still is undetstaneble.

Im Thinking about getting Dirac into my home Cinema. A 7:2.4 system with 4 subwoofers. Im using the Marantz sr7010 reciver and a 7channel power amplifier. The 7010 Powers One pair of atmos speakers and the surround back speakers.

So, my quetion is. If I hook up a 88A to my system. To get Dirac to mu 7 channels and my subwoofers. The subwoofers are correctly connected to a 2x4. I will have to set the marantz sr7010 to audessy bypass. Since the DTS and DD upmixer is part of Audessy ( as I undetstaneble, might be wrong here) will I be able to still use the upmixer? Not all my blurays is with Atmos soundtrack..

Is there any orker way to do this?
If I wanted Dirac on all channels, how should I do that? Is there a minidsp Box with Dirac that cover 11 speakers and 2 or 4 subwoofers?

Peter

There isn't a single unit that will do that but there is a tutorial on how to use two 88A here: www.minidsp.com/support/community-powere...-7-2-4-with-ddrc-88a

Here are some notes on using a single 88A in an Atmos system: www.avsforum.com/forum/90-receivers-amps...78.html#post39105602

You can also add a DDRC24 to the system to process the Atmos channels. www.minidsp.com/products/dirac-series/ddrc-24

How about correcting only the subwoofer with MiniDSP rather than using Dirac on all channels
You can also use the attractive Audessy Dynamic EQ
I got very good results with DENON AVR-X 4000 and MiniDSP 2 × 4

Hi,
Hoping someone might be able to help...I currently have a 7.1.6 speaker config in my home theater. all speakers are wisdom Sage series and are bi-amped. Im currently using a Wisdom SC-1 crossover between the amps and my Marantz Av8805 processor. The SC-1 (Electronic crossover) is no longer operating properly. Can I replace it with the DDRC-88A, I'm guessing I would need more than 1? All connections are XLR and each speaker uses hi and low pass connections (2 XLRs into amp from SC-1 each speaker). Thank you!

@dinamigym

It sounds like a setup where we provided some feedback already on a tech support ticket?
Please feel free to contact our team if you have further questions. We'd be happy to help.
