Hi,
Recently purchased a 2x4HD and am taking measurements with REW.

My problem is only one of my subwoofers works at a time, be it Left or Right.
I have to swap the RCA Outputs around to get anything from the other subwoofer.
Both subs work when I plug them directly into the sub-out of my receiver (Yamaha RX-V773) which has 2 sub outputs.

It's not the speakers or any of the cables which I have swapped around and verified they all work.

Current setup is:
RX-V773 -> 2 x rca sub out -> MiniDSP 2x4HD inputs (all outputs on) -> 1 x rca to each sub.

RX-V773 <- HDMI to DisplayPort -> Laptop -> USB to UMIK1 & USB to MiniDSP.

In the MiniDSP plugin I have set all outputs to 'ON' so as to create a summed mono output (the signal is not stereo bass, I know), but in reality it does not matter as any configuration I come up with makes no change to the above problem.
Input 1 to both subs = L (for example) sub works only.
Input 2 to both subs = L sub works only.
Input (1 + 2), 1 or 2 to R sub = Nothing, unless I swap the subwoofer rca cable position at MiniDSP box. Then L sub no longer works.

I can't understand why only one subwoofer would be outputting at one time. I have no idea what I have done? Surely I am missing something and I will be embarrassed as soon as that happens... But right now I am confused.

Hi, sounds like you need to disable the crossover on channel 2. (See user manual ;) )

@ Bradyey

Did you figure out the issue? As John suggested, simply bypass the default crossovers on the outputs. It will do the trick.

I managed to get dual subs working only on output 1 and 3. Have been quite busy and haven't had time to fiddle with it much more.
I didn't think there was any default crossover setting applied however I can't confirm that. If it's a default setting then it may have been overlooked.

Thanks for checking.
