Hi all, I tried asking this in the Software sub-forum but nobody seemed to have firsthand knowledge.  I'm running a PC and have a 2x4 HD.  I recently updated to the Device Console software and am wanting to add a second 2x4 HD.  Can I run two 2x4 HD's using the same Device Console software?.  And, if so, after adding the second 2x4 HD, could I leave them both connected to my PC via USB cable and just exit (disconnect) one and open the other on the "choose your device" page - essentially toggling back and forth between the two?  I'm not looking to have them both open at the same time, just be able to access one, hit the "disconnect" tab, then access the other.

Hi F,  I havent tried this myself as I only have one HD so the below is a logical assumption.
I cant see why not. The consule software connects to a single hardware device.
If you have two, then of course only 1 can be connected at one time.
You make your adjustments on on 2X4HD and disconnect it. Adjustments saved onto the HD.
You connect the second HD, make your adjustments, disconnect, adjustment stay in that HD.

The only thing that may confuse the user is if we save the config, we should save it to the one of the two HD by ID.
You may connect the first HD to the PC and the software will have the settings for 2HD and could ask you when looking at PEQ screens to either load the HD2 settings (into HD1 unit connec ted) or stay with the existing HD1 settings.

This can get very confusing hence why naming protocols for saved EQ/Xover files need precise naming.
Hope this helps
