QUESTION: Can I connect two DSP RCA outputs together with a Y cable, so that they form as a single input to an amplifier that get those two signals mixed as one?(MiniDSP 2x4 HD)
(I have a use-case that would benefit of that)
I mean will it work or destroy something or will it handle the sum of those signals together to the power amplifier..

In the case of 2x4HD, that will work fine.  (600 ohm output resistance on each leg allows this with no issues.)

Dave.

thanks.
I am doing "interaural crosstalk cancellation" setup.
Today I have in the 2ch setup two extra speakers on the other two MiniDSP RCA outputs to speakers that is left and right beside me.
So those are closer and delayed.
The left extra speaker take the right signal and invert it. Measure so the main and the side speaker have same levels.

So it is noise cancelation in each ear. But instead of having the extra speakers i will try to do it with a Y cable so the combined will go to the same main speaker and the extra pair speakers will also do the cancelation duty.

I will try that.. anyway..
Thanks again.
