I recently tried to update my 2x4HD firmware with the upgarde tool.
By accident i picked the wrong .bin-file (the one from umik-2).
Now the DSP is completely non functional, i can neither play music or connect to the DDRC-24 software.

Is there any way to fix this?

I would advise you to contact official miniDSP support via the Support link at the top of the page, rather than risking making things worse by trying to do anything else. I fear you may be told you need to post your unit back to be repaired but I hope for you I'm wrong on this.

I contacted the support and told me to send the unit in for repair.

So that's what i'm going to do.
