I cannot get the unit to play in stereo no matter the output routing.  I have an LR into input 1 and 2 and am trying to send input 1 to output 1 (sub) and 3 (left studio monitor), and input 2 to output 2 (sub) and 4 (right studio monitor).  No matter what I do, if I pan, the volume decreases instead of moving left to right.

You might need to explain a bit more about your setup, what devices you're using and share some config screenshots.
