I realize that the Mini DSP 10X10HD will not be produced anymore. I really need the format for a 7.1 receiver to plug into the crossover via analog outputs. The DDRC-88A has a similar format, but uses Dirac live instead of just a straight crossover/EQ/processor. Can I use the DDRC-88A as just a crossover/EQ/processor without using the Dirac live portion of it. I don’t need the bass/sub dirac live EQ. I just need the functions of the 10X10. I realize that the price is a lot more, but being that the 10X10is not available anymore, it is worth it to me. Also I already have the umik mike and would like to buy it without it, if possible. One other thought that may work. Can I use the DDRC-88A with the 10X10 software?

Thanking you in advance for your help

If you have REW and a microphone, much better IMO than DIRAC as you can control. I use a modified 10x10 (upgraded internals) to control 4 subs, I only EQ the sub and add to each 7 channels using analogue out. Better sonically than my Acurus ACT4 I sold and went back to analogue out and a legacy processor.

processing and EQ is only helpful with subs IMO is you can set up carefully you avoid degradation through processing
