I have two old tact digital amps that I want to use with a SHD or flex. Requirements for flex or SHD are connecting an old classic tuner and old classic tube CD player.  Shouldn’t need analog outputs and wondering if SHD is overkill

thoughts?

thanks

Note that both units only have a single analogue input, so to connect the two sources you mentioned you would need some form of external switch as well.

Do your TACT amps have DACs built in that you want to use? Note that this isn't generally true for what most would refer to as 'digital amps'.

If you have no interest in streaming and higher res. digital files then I'd struggle to argue for an SHD over a Flex Digital given the big price difference.
