I noticed just now that the nanoDIGI 2x8 has disappeared from the product list.

So, @devteam ... what product has replaced it?

Regards,
Andy

Hi @andyr,
Thank you for asking. The nanoDIGI 2X8 is already EOL this year. This product is removed from our product page, and it is under Legacy Products.
@Solveit, Thank you for your support of the product.

Were there too many bugs on the Nanodigi 2 x 8 since it was removed?
I have 2 and both fail and the latest fail I just made a post about but no one seems to know anything about just that

@Solveit, Thank you for your support of the product.

Well you still sell miniDSP 2x4 that is older than 5 years.
So I guess you sold to little of nanoDIGI...

@Solveit

UNfortunately nanoDIGI is victim of the chipset shortage some of you might read about if you Google or see the local dealership lot of your favorite car brand.. :-( Two specific chipsets are not going to be manufactured and unfortunately we can't source anymore of these.. It was indeed a very niche product.

@Thch

Sorry to hear of this issue.. We're not sure what is the problem as indeed the nanoDIGI was selling perfectly fine to lots of customers without issue for so many years.. Is that possible that maybe it's related to what we explained in the support ticket? i.e. USB connection "will" lock up the use of the IR. The sole fact to have a USB plugged in, will basically lock up source/preset selection in the product as explained.. Feel free to start a support ticket for any support. (support.minidsp.com) is our official path for any support by our team. We'd be happy to help!

Dont't forget it's a little buggy!
No offense to miniDSP I have some experience with ADAU1456, pretty same as 1466 or is it1465 in nanoDIGI and they are buggy sometimes.
I struggled with unbalanced volume in channels but an factory reset cured it.
Just an reminder when strange things happends. :)
Ofcourse you saved your presets an load them again.

I will try to found something else that can do the same as Nanodigi. I am considering a NADJA DSP.
Many times I have to turn off and on the Nanodigi before the computer can find it and now the remote only works if the Nanodi gets power from the usb (and its own power supply).
And it does not matter if the program is open for USB connection, or after.
When that computer can not connect, there is only one thing to do and that is to turn off for 5-10 sec and turn it on again.
I have updated everything and reloaded the files for Nanodigi but it fails and so did the other one too. (not remote but connection to PC)
I'm really tired of MiniDSP and I must be the earth's most unlucky person as I have 2 pcs that fail.
My friend has a 2 x 4 HD which must be restarted every time a fir filter is inserted because it jumps from the software on the computer.
