I’m contemplating a new power amp and wondered if the miniDSP 10x10HD analogue outputs are direct-coupled … or does each output channel have an output coupling cap?

If the former – I need a power amp which has input coupling caps.
If the latter - I can use a power amp which doesn’t have an input coupling cap.

(Currently, all my power amps have input coupling caps.)

Thanks,
Andy

Andy

All our products are indeed direct coupled have input&output caps for protection. Hoping this info helps.

Thank you, DevTeam. :)

'Direct-coupled' normally means a circuit doesn't have an input coupIing cap or an output coupling cap. However, I'm presuming - as you used the words 'for protection' - you mean it does use capacitors for protection against DC offset?

If so - is this on the inputs ... or outputs? (Or both?)

Thanks,
Andy
