Can I assume that this new board will allow the output I2S to be connected to the miniDSP I2S inputs?

Yes, that's fully correct. The board will easily stack up on top of a miniDSP kit, providing all the connectivity that is required. It will be the first I/O card to come out, although we're hoping to have the amplifier module also manufactured in the same batch... Stay tuned for some pics of that little puppy next week :-)

We should have a preliminary datasheet of the miniDIGI board by mid of this week. It will hopefully answer most of the questions you may have. Estimated price to come around the same time when we get final pricing from all our suppliers.

As for manufacturing, it will have to wait for post Chinese New Year era... Early March release sounds about right.

Hope that answers your questions,
