Good morning:

First I'd like to say that English is not my mother language, so please forgive my mistakes.

I've recently purchased the miniDSP EARS and I've been trying to test some things. Yesterday an engineer friend of mine suggested testing the damping factor of any of my headphones. As the closer one was the Audeze LCD-X (planar magnetic) I mesured both channels using the XLR 0,3 ohm and the 6,3mm 10 ohm and 120 ohm outputs of my Cayin iHA-6 amp.

I think the results are consistent with the idea that there is no frequency response differences, but that's not the problem.

As the graphics show, the left channel have real differences but not the right one.

In fact, when averaging each one and showing the averages together, I see huge differences between them.

I think it can be an inbalance problem of my Audeze's. What do you think??

I know this is an old thread, but did you ever figure out what the issue was with your headphones? I have a similar problem with my Sendy Aivas where the sound signature is different between the Left and Right drivers. I am considering purchasing the EARS to try and measure the exact difference in order to apply EQ to only one channel.
