It turned out that my mobile phone doesn't support UAC2, only UAC1...
It may be a pain for firmware developers to implement switching and saving of the UAC mode, but building another firmware with UAC1 instead of UAC2 shall be easy.

@int0ah

Unfortunately I'm afraid that we wouldn't be able to support UAC1 as once you upgrade one path, you can't discover it with our firmware upgrade tools. aka would need a complete new set of firmware upgrade tools since all our dev is UAC2 (so as much of most devices these days. )

Which phone are you trying with, which doesn't support the IL-DSP?

I'm asking because I see that the IL-DSP is detected as USB device by some of my Android devices, not by others and I don't understand yet the distinction between them.
Calibrate all the things :)

I'm working on an Android app for the IL-DSP.
It's available in the Play Store
And there's a support and discussion forum for it

It's Xiaomi Redmi 6 - MTK processor, Android 8 (tried upgrading to the last official Android 9), kernel 4.9.x.
I found some alternative kernel sources for that phone, it seems, that either the vendor could turn off the UAC2 support , or there is some incompatibility with MTK binaries.
Maybe, I'll experiment with it later.
