Hello all,

I've been using the HA-dsp for a few days now and really like it. Just recently the unit power cycled on its own while streaming music and now I have a flashing led 1. The output volume has dropped significantly, but it does still stream audio and I can connect to it with the software. I reloaded my config and verified that the input signal is still the normal 0 to -10dBFs as it was before.

I see no documentation on what a flashing led means. Has the unit identified a fault?

Thanks,
Mike

There seems to be some kind of issue with the internal charging circuitry. If I disconnect the battery and charge it externally, it works fine until the battery dies. As soon as the battery is dead, the led on the front starts blinking and the volume gets reduced again. Since I use this device on a desktop, in an always on configuration, I am not concerned with the issue.

I have tried multiple power bricks, multiple usb cables, computers, usb 2/3, nothing seems to make it want to charge. I don't see any internal damage, so it must be some sort of software bug telling the charging circuitry not to charge. I do indeed have the newest firmware where it says they have updated that bug.

Mike, to be 100% honest I am trying to get in touch with you not because of minidsp but of Yamaha R6 K-line packets. Not sure if you've heard of rusEFI GPL ECU but I happen to be the founder :) Can you hit me on rusefi forum or rusefi slack or rusefi FB by any chance?
