Just wanted to share a picture of my MiniDSP case that I scavenged from an old video sync box. It makes a great home for two boards. They're both powered from an old 16v laptop SMPS.

That's neat! Well installed and it fits like a glove! :-)
What are you doing with it? 4 way setup?

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks :)

Yeah, It's a 3 way (4 driver) open baffle. I have one channel on each board open right now, once the OB is done, I plan to use the other 2 channels for subwoofer filters. Future plans are to re-do the RCA jacks with chassis mount that I'm going to solder to the boards, and build an 8 channel Destroyer X based amplifier to go with it.

I'll get some pictures of the speakers today.

I do have one question, is there any way to get the two MiniDSP boards to share programming? While I'm making changes, I keep having to unplug USB from board 1 and plug it into board 2 and doing "sync" again...it would be awesome if I could just use one USB cable and have both boards update when I make changes.

Is there any way to do this?

Hack a USB cable with a 4PDT switch and connect it to a mini USB hub mounted in the box, then you can just flip a switch instead of unplug-replug routine. From what I've read you can't access more than one 2x4 at the same time via the computer plug-in.
